Warwickshire County Council are proposing to make 3 Temporary Traffic Orders to ensure safety of all road users and of the contractors working on Stanks Island. The Traffic Orders will be effective from Thursday 14th November 2019 until 1st April 2020.
1 – A one-way traffic flow will be imposed in a northerly direction between Birmingham Road and Cape Road. Wedgnock Lane will be closed to all southbound traffic from its junction with Cape Road to its junction with Birmingham Road. There will be no left turn from Cape Road on to Wedgnock Lane
2 – All traffic will be prohibited from turning right from Birmingham Road onto Wedgnock Lane. All traffic will be prohibited from turning right on to the Birmingham Road from Old Birmingham Road, Budbrooke Road and Eastley Crescent
3 – To impose a 20mph speed restriction on Birmingham Road between it’s junction with Stanks Island to its junction with St Michael’s Road. To impose a 20mph speed restriction on Wedgnock Lane from its junction with Birmingham Road
