Warwickshire County Council proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Order closing D4219 Masefield Avenue, Warwick, between its junction with Kipling Avenue / Longfellow Avenue and Shelley Avenue, to vehicle traffic. The closure is required to safely facilitate footway reconstruction works.
A One-Way traffic flow will be imposed from the Shakespeare Avenue roundabout towards Kipling Avenue / Longfellow Avenue junction. The closure & restrictions are required 9.30am – 3.30pm weekdays only.
The Order will commence on 22nd July 2019 and will last for a period of 18 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 13th August 2019.
Pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
An alternative route will be signed and is available via: Shelley Avenue, Longfellow Avenue, Kipling Avenue, Tennyson Avenue and Shakespeare Avenue.
