Warwickshire County Council will be carrying out essential works to Castle Bridge, from Monday 4th March, lasting up to six weeks in duration.
During the six weeks of works, the footpath crossing on the St. Nicholas Park side of the bridge will be closed, diverting pedestrians to the other side via the use of existing pedestrian crossing town side, and via a temporary crossing to be installed between the bridge and roundabout to the south. This closure is required to ensure the safety of pedestrians while works are carried out.
A short term disruption is expected whilst the site is established and pedestrian crossing is installed. The co-operation of residents, businesses and commuters during this time is appreciated and works are being designed to minimise the impact to all those effected.
