Warwickshire County Council proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Order closing Cape Road, Warwick, from the junction with the lane leading to the County Records Office to the junction of Cape Road and Northgate, to vehicular traffic.
The closure is required to safely facilitate the use of a large crane.
The Order will commence on 17 August 2018 and will last for a period of 18 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed between 19.00hrs and 22.00hrs on 17 August 2018.
Pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes will be signed and are available via:
- Wedgenock Lane, Primrose Hill, Coventry Road, St Johns, St Nicholas Church Street, Castle Hill, The Butts.
- Northgate, Priory Road, St Johns, Coventry Road, Primrose Hill, Wedgenock Lane
