Mayor of Warwick’s Christmas Vouchers

Once again despite lockdown, Warwick residents over the age of 75 are eligible for The Mayor of Warwick’s Christmas Voucher.

Thanks to the support of the Trustees of Henry VIII Endowed Trust the Mayor of Warwick, Councillor Terry Morris is once again able to provide Christmas Vouchers to the over 75 years old residents of Warwick (CV34 postcodes).

Vouchers can be redeemed for £7.50 at one of the following Warwick outlets during the month of December:-

The Tuckery Café, CJs Market Stalls, Claridges, Rowley’s Butchers, Mel Broom Butchers & Warwick Visitor Information Centre

Vouchers are limited and it is hoped that people who do not need a voucher will leave them for residents who do, for the vouchers are not a statutory entitlement.

Due to the national lockdown, Liz Healey, Visitor Information Centre Manager said, our plan is to have a stall at Warwick Market on Saturday 5th December where we will be able to hand out the 2020 Mayor’s Vouchers in the fresh air. The Mayor of Warwick will be joining us from 11am to 12noon to personally help hand out vouchers.

If you are isolating this year please do not hesitate to phone the Visitor Information Centre on 01926 492212, all we need is your name and address and we will come to your house to deliver your voucher. You then have up until the 31st December to redeem it.

Of course, you are most welcome to come and collect your voucher in person at the Visitor Information Centre, (Jury Street, CV34 4EW) when we hopefully reopen again on 3rd December 2020 subject to government guidelines changing. Vouchers can be collected on production of a pension card or bus pass (identification with name, address and date of birth), between 10.00am – 4.00pm from Thursday 3rd December 2020.
