Update – Warwickshire County Council have confirmed this Temporary Traffic Order will be in operation until Friday 11th October 2019 (Information provided 26th September 2019)
Warwickshire County Council proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Order the effect of which will be to impose a temporary one way traffic flow on High Street, Warwick.
The temporary one way traffic flow is required for the safety of all road users whilst scaffolding is in place.
The Order will commence on 14th September 2019 and will last for a period of 18 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 5th October 2019.
Pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
An alternative route will be signed and is available via: The Butts, Northgate, Saltisford, Theatre Street, Bowling Green Street and High Street.
