Warwickshire County Council proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Order closing A425 Saltisford, Warwick between Albert Street and Victoria Street, to vehicular traffic.
The closure is required to facilitate works for the installation of a new traffic refuge and associated works.
The Order will commence on 17 March 2019 and will last for a period of 18 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 31 March 2019.
Please Note – The works will be carried out on three consecutive Sundays – 17 March 2019, 24 March 2019 and 31 March 2019.
Pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained where possible.
Alternative route will be signed and are available via:
Anti-Clockwise – Saltisford, Northgate, Smith Street, St John’s, Coventry Road, Primrose Hill, Wedgnock Lane and Birmingham Road
Clockwise – Saltisford, Birmingham Road, Wedgnock Lane, Primrose Hall, Coventry Road, St John’s, St Nicholas Church Street, Castle Hill, The Butts and Northgate
